The Traditional Arts Xchange

Further developments in a most successful festival. Created in 1999, the project has been visited by 18,000 people and 50 schools in the UK have taken part. The festival website received 6,000 hits per month during its first year. My Ephemeral Arts website has been a leading site in all google searches since 1990.

Crime in Nairobi: Is it time to keep things in perspective…?

Reports about crime always make difficult reading for East African Asians who may have opted to become citizens of Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. Others with different nationalities who have chosen to work and live there are also dismayed by what many perceive to be planned attacks on Asian businesses and wealthy families. No one can underestimate the trauma and fear caused by these criminal acts but it is important to keep things in perspective…..Asian families may be targeted in Nairobi, London, Toronto and New York. Prevention must the key.
